  • 12 sky siren video contest!

So one night i was up all night and i couldn't sleep at all, so i decided to create a music video for the 12 sky siren video contest. It is a contest where they give you a song to work with you and you use your own video clips to make a music video. It was hard at first to get used to vegas video editor and i messed up a lot when i was reocrding with fraps. But i hope you all enjoy my first 12 sky video :] maybe more to come if there are contests. My character is currently level 26 and exploring the world as they are holding an event called the 12 days of 12 sky. Where they give out free gifts everyday, and its funny to see that some people complain about free items. Anyways you can check out this game here : http://12-sky.aeriagames.com/

here is the link to my submission of the 12 sky siren video contest: http://youtube.com/watch?v=mkcQ6XWMvIs

Here are a few screenshots of the game itself :

  • 5 ways to curve your diet

    1. Eat green
It doesn't hurt to garnish your meals with vegetables and eat a little bit here and there.

    2. Drink lots of water
You should drink about 8 glasses of water in a day, start your morning off with 4 and you wont have that much of an appetite later.

    3. Cut out the carbs!
If you don't plan to go running within the next 5 hours, then plan on staying away from anything loaded with carbs, ie bread, pasta, and potatoes.

    4. Add more protein to your diet
Eating healthy doesn't mean you should cut out all the good stuff, for some protein, eat tofu, fish, and chicken.

    5. Stop indulging!
Just because your eating healthy doesn't always equate to being healthy, because if you indulge in anything, it could have unhealthy effects.

  • Classic Games, Should Stay Classic?

How many of you have heard of the game "tetris?" How many of you have heard of the game "tetris 3d"? Well whats the main difference between the two? Well one of them is classic, and the other one has some 3d engine shoved down its throat. There is no real difference, except for the graphics, just take a look!

    Classic Tetris

    3d Tetris

WTF right? Same game concept, just different graphics. People should be focusing on making new and better games, instead of inventing new ways to resell classic games.

Okay now that ive gotten your attention, If you are an 80's kid, you will remember rushing to the library or home after school and logging on to a screen like this..

Yup that is , the real classic runescape. The one that you used to play when you were in middle school. Dont lie... we've all indulged in a game or two. You would go home and login to your account to whatever game you would play, everquest, diablo 2, runescape, all that shit. And 5 years later, you see that some classic games have evolved into better games, and some games, well... lets just say, their creators are just out to make some money off of it.

This game used to be played by virtually thousands of players, on the occasion, over 5000+ players or more. It was easy and simple to understand. You kill, you level up, and you collect items. The graphics in this game was so primitive, it made playing the game a lot more fun. Just imagine how much time you would spend in this game...

so lets say you spend about a few minutes playing runescape a day, and you mine 100 iron ore, it would take you about 3724 days to get to level 99. WTF RIGHT!! thats hella days of your time, but normally people play much more, so it takes a lot less time than it seems, but even if you mined 1000 iron ores a day, it would take you 372 days to get your mining maxed out. crazy right? a whole year just playing runescape to get a skill maxed out, when theres like 10+ other skills you can max out to 99. So this was the crazy old addictive runescape classic. look what it has now become.

What the hell happened!?!!??! WELL jagex released a 3d engine of runescape called runescape 2, which was rumored to be the best game coming out for summer. Unfortunately as soon as it came out and everyone transfered to the new game, all the real players left because they know that this new game is better left off as classic. You should only reinvent games if they have potential to become any better. Runescape did not.

    ie. starcraft

    and ie. diablo 2

But Unfortunately for runescape... they decided to go ahead and try to make runescape 2, but it ended up being a crapier version of world of warcraft. Even if it its Free to play, they mainly made rs2 just so they can build up more suscribers from all the hype that was going around.

Some games were meant to stay classic, if i wanted to play a 3d game where you kill, train, and loot with all the benefits included for a monthly payment, i would play world of warcraft, or everquest 2, but unfortunately for runescape, it will remain classic to me forever.
